I did that but I think my NIC can’t capture packets in monitor mode, so instead of getting an AirPcap adapter, I was thinking to go for a cheaper option such as this: Lekensteyn 4, 4 24 Cannot access Edit Interface Settings dialog box in Windows. So it seems windwos this time Windows 10 is not officially supported Has anyone had success using a Riverbed AirPcap with Windows 10?
The page lists support for Windows up to Windows 7. For me there was no reason to even consider an expensive AirPcap adapter which has Windows support as its unique selling point. Check out the FAQ!
